Verizon Transfers iPhone Functionality to Home Phone
One word: Lame.
Maybe it’s because I’m bias, since no one I know under the age of 30 has a landline unless they run a business from home, but this will definitely resonate more with the older set. Even so, however, I still don’t see this being some revolutionary new product. If you really needed to send text messages you’d already have a mobile phone. If you needed to use a digital calendar, check the weather, and get driving directions, you’d have this thing known as a computer.
In other words, I don’t see anyone who actually needs to do those things going out and purchasing this product.
Will this product Succeed or Fail?
My Prediction: Fail.
